Induction may be increasing in popularity but for the home chef who prefers the more traditional cooking method of a gas hob Küppersbusch has launched the GKE 6840.0 four burner ceramic glass gas hob.

There is no need to compromise on contemporary style and design if gas is your preference as this slick ceramic glass hob shows. Smooth sensor touch controls are conveniently located at the front of the hob, and just a light fingertip touch to the sensor pad is sufficient to control the respective cooking zone.

The cast iron pan supports rest on the ceramic glass surface and can simply be removed for cleaning. This, coupled with the ultra smooth control panel, makes light work of cleaning with no buttons or knobs to harbour germs. The HardLine frame design enables a seamless installation into the worktop. The slim-line burners include a 2.80kW high speed burner and a simmer burner.

The safety pilot automatically shuts off the gas in the event of flame failure and for further safety there is a childproof lock. This prevents the hob being turned on unintentionally or the settings turned up when the lock is activated.

Also available as a five burner hob.
