Slimline cooker hood is available for use with Johnson and Starley whole house heat recovery systems
(13/11/2009)
Wis a whole house heat recovery system, stale, moist air is extracted from 'wet' rooms through grilles/cooker canopy (if fitted) and passed across the aluminium plate heat exchanger to remove the heat and then the residue is exhausted to the atmosphere.
Fresh, filtered supply air is drawn across the heat exchanger to be warmed by the retained heat. This warmed fresh air is then distributed through ceiling mounted grilles to 'dry' rooms, streams are kept separate to avoid any cross contamination. This results in fresh dry, warmed air circulating the rooms and providing a pleasant, clean, healthy living environment.
Johnson & Starley's LE Range of Heat Recovery units incorporate modern design with energy efficient EC motors and improved control options. Both the LE155 and LE250 can be fitted with optional slimline cooker canopy and are available in white or steel effect finish.
A slimline cooker hood is available for use in conjunction with Johnson & Starley’s LE 250 and LE155 whole house heat recovery systems. These slimline units can be conveniently fitted within a standard sized kitchen cupboard or in a roof space. When fitted above a cooker hob with the hood, they will capture moisture laden air and cooking smells at source.
The cooker hood includes a filter, lighting, boost and summer mode switching. The controls are conveniently mounted on the hood itself. Wall mounted remote controls are provided for other installation types when the cooker hood is not used.
Both LE155 and LE 250 will complement modern interior designs and both powder coated steel white casings and steel effect finish versions are available. With energy efficient EC fan motors, and running costs around just half of AC fans, the systems provide highly efficient ventilation for homes with accurate control of supply and extract rates. Robust aluminium heat exchangers provide a long working life.
SAP Appendix Q listed, the LE250 has airflow ratings of up to 250m3/hr on its maximum speed setting, making it suitable for larger installations whilst the LE155 is ideal for smaller installations.
