Free seminar programme at kbb Birmingham 2010
(19/02/2010)
To mark the show’s 25th year, an impressive seminar programme will run alongside the kbb event of 2010: kbb Birmingham 2010. This free programme is designed to equip visitors with the inspiration and knowledge for the year ahead. It will run over the event’s four days, 21-24 March, at the NEC, Birmingham.
Topics covered include high-design in kitchens and bathrooms, design trends, Part G, LEDs, Gas Safe, showrooms and a session devoted to discussing online business opportunities.
Highlights will include talks from Paolo Pininfarina of Pininfarina Extra S.r.l; Henrik Otto, Senior Vice President of Global Design Electrolux; designer Roberto Palomba; product designer Robin Levien RDI of Studio Levien and luxury kitchen designer Johnny Grey.
The programme’s curator, Grahame Morrison, who has attended every single kbb event since the show’s conception, commented on the line-up: “This is probably the single most comprehensive seminar programme in the history of KBB business exhibitions in Britain, if not Europe. Certainly I am not aware of another KBB trade show that has brought together so many industry experts in one event.
“Combine these expert speakers with the innovative products that over 240 exhibitors will be showing and it becomes obvious why over 80% of those who took part in a recent poll organised by kbb News said they would be going to the show. The only question visitors will be asking themselves is: ‘how many days do I need to spend at kbb Birmingham?’”
