Warm homes, hot baths and great food with Rayburn
(12/03/2010)
AGA Rangemaster is reporting strong interest in Rayburn, its evergreen heating and eating brand. Despite their traditional good looks, Rayburn has some of the most advanced technology available in the boiler and range cooker markets. For example, the Rayburn 480CD has an ultra-efficient A-rated condensing boiler which reduces the owner’s fuel bills considerably.
Rayburns are also completely controllable, to ensure energy is only used when required. The recently launched Rayburn Heatranger 600 can heat up to 20 radiators, provide copious amounts of hot water and produce wonderfully cooked and succulent food.
AGA Rangemaster’s Chief Executive, William McGrath sees a great future for Rayburn. He said: “I think it’s the combination of warm homes, hot baths and great food that is unbeatable. Rayburn has been a much loved brand in the UK since 1946 and thanks to the energy-efficient central heating boilers and beautifully enameled range cookers, continue to be hugely popular among those looking for a practical and elegant solution to heating their homes.”
But not one to rest on its laurels, Rayburn continues to innovate by developing a system to make the most of renewable energy and future proof its appliances. William McGrath says: “By creating a system which is biased towards renewables and links Rayburn with solar panels and woodburning stoves, we’re already helping homeowners cut down on their use of fossil fuels.” The company is also launching a condensing version of its oil fired Heatranger 600, which will bring the advantages of an ultra efficient A-rated boiler to homes which aren’t on mains gas, and tend to be in more rural areas.
Rayburn has long been the choice of the practical and pragmatic consumer who wants an appliance to be a workhorse in the heart of their home. As an all-in-one appliance, Rayburn Heatrangers are an obvious choice – not only do they deliver a warm and welcoming kitchen, but heat all the radiators in the rest of the home, generate lots of hot water and create delicious food. As William McGrath says: “Rayburn really is a perfect combination of central heating and eating.”
To underpin their green credentials, 70% of each Rayburn is made from previously used material including car gearboxes, guttering, old machinery, cookers, door fittings, drain covers, lamp posts and much more. And at the end of their exceptionally long lives, Rayburn appliances are almost completely recyclable.
There are a wide range of models available: cooker with central heating and domestic hot water, cooker and domestic hot water as well as cooker only. Plus there are Rayburns available in natural or propane gas, commercial kerosene, solid fuel and woodburning versions.
Rayburn appliances are designed and engineered at the AGA foundry and factory in Coalbrookdale, Shropshire – the home of cast-iron and a centre of excellence for over 300 years.
