MGS launches SPIN monobloc mixer tap for smaller kitchens or secondary sinks
(21/06/2010)
MGS has added to its kitchen collection with SPIN, a stylish monobloc mixer tap that bears all the hallmarks of MGS design – simple, fluid lines and an all-stainless steel construction – but scaled down into a noticeably more compact shape.
SPIN was so-named because of the MGS design team being influenced by the flowing, full shapes made by the sails of spinnaker yachts. Significantly smaller than MGS kitchen taps to date, SPIN is bound to find favour with retailers selecting taps for smaller kitchens or for secondary, ‘work station’ sinks.
Stephen Rinaldi, one of the three founders of MGS and the company’s managing director commented “The MGS Kitchen Collection is well established, but we were conscious of a gap in the range with regards to fulfilling the requirements of smaller kitchens – galleys, those in apartments and so on. SPIN is immediately recognizable as an MGS tap, but thanks to its compact styling and accessible pricing, we think MGS is about to be discovered by many more kitchen designers. ”
Like all MGS kitchen taps, SPIN is manufactured entirely from solid stainless steel. MGS are long-time proponents of stainless steel as a material for crafting taps from and champion its longevity and supreme durability. SPIN will be available in polished or matt finishes.
The new SPIN will be available from kitchen retailers UK-wide.
RRP £492.21 inc VAT (matt), £522.33 inc VAT (polished)
Founded by Marcello Bergossi, Giulio De Falco and Stephen Rinaldi in 1999, MGS Progetti has been instrumental in the use of stainless steel in tap, shower and bathroom accessory manufacturing. The company uses precision engineering and machining to hone each component of every tap, shower or accessory, whilst hand polishers finish each product to perfection.
