Creative kitchen solutions for compact living in the future

At this year’s Grand Designs Live London, Electrolux will present four of its appliances of the future. Their 2010 competition focused on creative solutions for compact living and asked industrial design students to consider how people will prepare and store food, wash clothes, and do dishes in the homes of 2050, when 74% of the global population are predicted to live in an urban environment.
